Peach Cobbler

(We'll be making another cobbler soon and will try to get a better picture to replace this one)

1 stick Butter
1 cup Self Rising Flour
2 cups Sugar divided
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups or 2 (15 oz.) cans Peaches, drained
1 tsp Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350.
Melt butter in a 2 quart casserole dish. In a separate bowl, combine flour, 1 cup of sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir and pour on top of melted butter.
Pour Peaches over batter mixture. Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the reserved cup of sugar. Mix well then pour evenly over top of the peaches.
Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until well browned.

This recipe can be used for most fruit. For some fruits such as blueberries or cherries, just omit the cinnamon.
